I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His Hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve now found peace at the end of day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief
Don’t lengthen your pain with undue grief. Lift your heart and peace to thee. God wanted me now~ He set me Free
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelations 21:4
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me
In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so I
would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go
and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither
I go ye know, and the way ye know.
John 14: 1-4
And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will
see God. I myself will see him with my own eyes- I and not
another. How my heart years within me!
Job 19: 26-27
